　　内容提要:文化自信是在对自身历史发展精髓的深刻领悟、对自身文化禀赋的充分尊重、对自身精神价值的高度肯定的基础上,自觉地传承、弘扬、践行,进而拥有实现创造性转化和创新性发展的能力。树立和强化文化自信,是着眼于更好地开展具有许多新的历史特点伟大斗争,因应世情、国情、党情的深刻变化在思想文化领域带来的复杂局面提出来的。文化自信不仅是坚定中国道路自信的题中之义,而且是最根本、最基础的自信,树立和强化文化自信,是我们今天走好中国道路应有的精气神。在中国道路形成和发展过程中,与之相生相伴的思想文化资源,是中华优秀传统文化、革命文化和社会主义先进文化。坚定中国道路自信,必然要求坚定对这三种文化的自信。讲好中国故事,本质上就是用文化的方式讲中国道路的故事,把中国道路不断创新发展的优势转化为话语影响力。

　　The cultural confidence is the ability to consciously pass on,carry forward and practice the culture and thus realize creative transformation and innovative development,based on deep understanding of the development of law one's own history,adequate respect to one's own cultural endowment and high recognition of one's own spiritual value.The wording of "establishing and strengthening the cultural confidence" is brought forward eyeing on the starting of the great struggle with new historical characteristics,as a response to the complexity in the field of ideology and culture caused by the in-depth changes in the situation of the world,the country and the Party.The cultural confidence is not only an underlying connotation of firming the confidence in the China Road,but also the basic ,fundamental confidence.To establish and strengthen the cultural confidence is the necessary spirit for marching forward on the China Road.During the process of forming and developing the China Road,the accompanying ideological and cultural resources are the excellent traditional culture,revolutionary culture and socialist advanced culture,and firming the confidence in the China Road requires necessarily confidence in these three kinds of culture.To tell the China story well is essentially to tell the story of the China road in a cultural way,to do meaningful things in an interesting way,and to transform the ever-updating advantages of the China Road into discourse influence.

　　习近平同志在2016年“七一”重要讲话中,明确提出文化自信是与道路自信、理论自信、制度自信并列的“第四个自信”,为推进中国特色社会主义伟大事业奠定了新的精神格局。这是党在思想文化领域里的执政理念又一个创新,是对全党全国各族人民精神状态提出的新要求。

　　怎样看这个重大命题,本文谈几点认识。

　　一、什么是文化自信

　　文化自信是一个国家、一个民族、一个政党对自身历史发展精髓的深刻领悟,对自身文化禀赋的充分尊重,对自身精神价值的高度肯定,并在此基础上自觉地传承、弘扬、践行,进而拥有实现创造性转化和创新性发展的能力。文化自信不是固定人群对既有文化的被动承担,其基本路向是不忘本来,吸收外来,面向未来。文化自信的前提是文化自觉,目的是文化自强。

　　在当代中国,首先要树立和强化对中华优秀传统文化、革命文化和社会主义先进文化的自信。这三种文化积淀着中华民族最深沉的精神追求,代表着中华民族独特的精神标识。文化自信既是传承和弘扬这三种文化的内在动力,是在思想文化领域多元、多样、多变,不同社会思潮交流、交融、交锋的现实背景中,站稳脚跟、不忘初心、继续前进的心理凭借。
